I did it through temp agencies. Most of the jobs were more data entry than coding and didn't pay much, but there was always work, and I got my hours in easily.

Hi, I have my CPC-A and looking for a job or way to get the A removed. I have already done practicode and didn't do as well as I hoped to remove it. So now looking for a job that they will accept with me being an apprentice. Any suggestions would be great and I live in South Carolina and looking for remote work.

Federal positions will sometimes allow CPC-A coders. You can check USAjobs.gov under "medical records technician", make sure it specifies coder somewhere in the listing as the same title is used for a handful of HIMs positions.
