We attempted a Mirena iud insertion and due to cervical stenosis, had to use the Kyleena. What is the best way (if it is even possible) to receive reimbursement from payer, BCBS. Or is the Mirena just a cost loss?

I have heard that an alternative to trying to fight with the insurance company, is to contact the manufacturer. They may be willing to send you a replacement device.

That was our next step, if no one here had any other suggestions or ideas. Thank you!
