Our office does not participate with any of the Medicaid products. When our doctors are on call they do get Medicaid emergencies. Can we bill the patient instead of medicaid. I have always been taught that if the patient has medicaid and is not informed at time of service that we do not participate we can not bill them. Has that changed? Thank You for any input.
