Can I get anyone's take on holding pathology for EGD and Colon procedures. We have always let them go with sign,symptom or findings. Now I am finding out that maybe they are all suppose to be held until path comes back? We usually hold the suspect colon cancer mass but let all else go. Can I get feed back on what is appropriate. And any documentation that supports either way. Thank you
