Our docs are now declotting and maintaining the new Hero vascular access devices inserted in our patients. Would the shuntograms, thrombectomies, stents and ptas, etc. be coded the same as a regular av fistula?

that is correct-the entire Hero and AVF portion is considered to be one zone for the codes and the same CPTs apply.
