how would you code this? i have heard V86.0, but that doesn't quite seem correct to me.

Her 2 is a test ran from pathology. Her2 positive or Her 2 negative. This result is a tool for the physician to determine the patient's plan of treatment. As of today, I don't believe there is an ICD.9 code to reflect the results of the Her2. There is one of the PR and ER status. Yet, I haven't seen one for the Her2 status. Debbie

The V86.0/V86.1 seem to be the PR and ER codes. I was hoping that maybe I was just having trouble finding the HER-2 code. Thanks!
