I'm trying to clean up a patient's file and they have both dx listed of E11.42 (Type 2 DM with diabetic polyneuropathy) and E11.49 (Type 2 DM with other diabetic neurological complication). Is not the first code of E11.42 more specific for dx coding? Thanks for the help! -Becky
