Any ideas on a CPT code for this? I don't think 24105 will cut it because the bursa was not excised ~ only a portion was resected. Any ideas will be appreciated!
OPERATION: RESECTION OF CALCIFIED OLECRANON BURSA AND RESECTION OF FOREIGN BODY.
INDICATIONS: The patient is a 21 -year-old male complaining of pain directly over a palpable nodule in his olecranon bursa. He had failed nonoperative management and is admitted for the previously mentioned procedure.
OPERATIVE FINDINGS: Several small green and gray colored firm objects measuring approximately 0.01 mm x 0.01 mm in size were resected from the posterior part of his elbow with a segment of the olecranon bursa.
