Aren't low back pain and lumbosacral facet joint pain a symptom of lumbar spondylosis w/o myelopathy and postlaminectomy syndrome.

I coded the dxs as 722.83 (lumbar postlaminectomy syndrome) and 721.3 (lumbar spondylosis w/o myelopathy). Would this be correct?

They actually had the dxs listed as:
1. Lumbar spondylosis w/o myelopathy.
2. Low back pain.
3. Facet joint pain, lumbosacral.
4. Syndrome, postlaminectomy, lumbar.

I would need the entire note to be able to better advise regarding the diagnosis for the specific encounter. I have questions regarding the lumbar spondylitis, as in why was the laminectomy performed, and are these new symptoms or are they from an old problem list.

Lumbar Spondylosis

I use 721.3 for lumbar spondylosis, 724.2 for low back pain, 722.83 PLS-lumbar.
721.90 for facet joint pain.

Isn't low back pain and facet joint pain an integral part of lumbar spondylosis and PLS?
