My provider saw a patient in the hospital as a specialist consult at 1:08AM for initial visit and also the same day at 10:57PM as a subsequent visit. How do I bill this properly?
 
The work done the same day is combined for one code. You should not bill 2 visits on the same day except for specific circumstances.
