Can anyone help me with coding splints? I am billing splinting materials (orthoglass)
and the application of the splint in an urgent care setting and I cannot find solid documentation of how to bill for the supply materials. For instance, when billing the Q codes for the supplies, do I bill it by the number of inches used? Or do I simply bill the Q code once? One documentation I found stated to bill per roll, but the facility uses a large roll that could treat 20-30 patients. Help!
