hope some1 could help me on the following scenario:
if a hospitalist see patient @ 9:00 (biling 99231-99233) (dictated note is there), but 3 hours later, the patient passed away, same hospitalist who pronounced the death, what should E/M level be? discharged? I can only bill 1 e/m per day right? please advise,
