Pt has a knee patella OCD with patella dislocation. CPT 27416 is not the correct code.
MD did an "open" patella osteochondral fixation. He made an incision and identified the patella OCD lesion. He drilled a hole to help produce bleeding bone.Two Anthrex screws were inserted on the lateral side and superior side of the patella to help anchor down the lesion and help fixation.
I have just drawn a blank. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks so much!
