Hello!
I am needing some clarification.... This is my scenario (this is an outpatient procedure in a hospital)
We have a physician that orders and authorization CPT code 93458 coronary angiogram with left heart catheterization and left ventriculography. When we get into the procedure the physician decided he is not going to do the
left heart catheterization or LV gram because of dye overload to the kidneys. So, no left heart cath was performed or the left ventriculography, what CPT code would charge for? would you use a Modifier 52? or 74?
Thank you
