Does anyone know the CPT code for a hearing test for a 10 year old. I have been using 92587 but is being denied saying it's for infants. I do not see an age requirement attached to this code. Please help

92587 is not a hearing test. It is a test that produces clicking sounds via a probe tip in the ear which passes through the middle ear to the inner ear and is picked up by te hair cells in the cochlea. The OAE machine picks up a response from the hair cells.
Hearing testing can be done with a number of diffrent procedures. It all depends on what you are doing. The most common one I see in peds is 92551 (screening test, pure tone, air only).
