I have an ICD 10 scenario: The patient is being treated for a fracture. The patient comes in and the provider obtains an x-ray and states that the fracture has healed. Would you code the fracture as a subsequent with routine healing since there is not a 7th character for healed. I would think it would be to soon to code a personal history. Any thoughts?
