Hello All!!

I am a newly certified CPC-A, and am working in a pediatric clinic. I am wondering if we are to use HCPCS G Codes vaccine admin codes (G0008,G0009,G0010) for both Medicare AND Medicaid, or just Medicare, or does it depend on the clinic...

If I understand correctly, those are only used for Medicare Patients.

Medicaid is administered at the state level so it may be different from one state to another

The state Medicaid plans that I have seen so far do not accept the G codes. There are usually equivalent CPT codes that you can bill. Also, some services Medicaid will not pay for due to age restrictions, Check your Medicaid provider manuals online or call them to direct you where to find them - they are good resources to know what codes you should bill for different services.
