Provider is billing as a 20553 TPI under Ultra Sound, anyone have a clear answer on this?
Indication: This is a 33 year male who has had an increase in paraspinal lumbar pain and muscle tenderness. He presents for an ultrasound guided injection of the posterior hardware and surrounding musculature.
Procedure: Informed consent was obtained. The area was prepped with chlorhexidine and alcohol and draped in a sterile fashion. The hardware was identified by palpation and ultrasound.
A total mixture of 5cc of 1% lidocaine, 5cc of 0.25% bupivicaine, and 1cc of Depo-Medrol 40mg/ml. The patient tolerated the procedure well.
