Can you bill (20680) removal of hardware of left thumb & (26340) manipulation of finger joint together?

Good Morning - Based on my understanding, there is a Medicare CCI edit in place for 20680 and 26340. However, some commercial payers do reimburse for this separately, so depending upon the carrier, it may be reimbursable. I am assuming it is the same finger. Good Luck, Karen Gallagher, CPC, COSC
