Procedure: Loose body removal and 1st MTP arthroplasty
Incision was made on the dorsal aspect of the foot where the extensor hallucis and the extensor brevis was freed from surrounding tissues. Tissue scarring of the capsule was noted, then removed. Exostosis was removed from the dorsal aspect, the proximal end of the proximal phalans, and the joint. A piece of bone was also removed from the dorsal medial side of the joint. .
