Wiki h1n1/flu billed at same time/modifier

When the flu shot (90658 and 90471) and the H1N1 (90663 and 90470) are billed at the same visit for non medicare there is a CCI edit that comes up that indicates that the codes are mutually exclusive procedures. When you view the CCI list; it says that a modifier is allowed. However i have heard that some comercial insurance companys do not follow the CCI edits. my question..would you add the modifier 59 or not.

You should not be posting the 90471 you should be posting the 90472 since the admin. for H1N1 is the primary admin. code
