Hi,

Can I use a GY Modifier when the primary and secondary insurance is Commercial? I Know that it could be used for Medicare but just wanted to double check.

The modifier is specific to Medicare. Unless a particular payer requires it or has requested you bill with it, I would not use it for a patient in a commercial plan.
