Hello,

I work for a group/multispecialty clininc. With this being said, would it be appropraite to bill under the clinic's NPI or would it have to be provider specific, in other words, under the rendering provider's NPI?
 
If by "clinic", you mean group of doctors and not a facility, then you put the corporation info in box 33, including the group NPI, and the individual rendering provider info in box 32. Some insurances also want the Taxonomy code of the individual in the shaded part of 24J, and the individual npi in the white part of 24j. The name of the rendering provider goes in box 31.
