Hi coders!

When is it correct to code grandmal status? The example I have is as follows: PMH lists Seizure Disorder, Grand Mal type. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Was the patient seen that day for the seizure disorder? Is it documented in the A/P?

No, they were not seen that day for it, and it is not in the a/p
