WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS QUESTION. Our MD saw a patient on 7-30-10 and charged 23600 closed treatment of humeral fracture, however, returned today and now needs to have an open reduction performed. Am I able to bill for an EM visit or not since it was within the global period.

I don't think so. I would just charge for the open reduction with modifier -58 for the more extensive procedure, since it's still in the global.
