Wiki global period follow-up

If one of our patients had a transplant at a hospital out of town but wants to follow-up with our provider, will we be reimbursed for this since we have no affiliation with the hopital that did the transplant? Does the global only apply to the provider that did the procedure?

The global only applies to the surgeon/hospital that performed the surgery.
Documentation of transfer of care needs to be clear for the follow up provider.
