Our hospital and clinic are associated, now with that in mind....my questions is.. a pt comes into ER for a dog bite, had stitches.. the next day she came into the clinic to have it check because it was inflamed. This has a 10 day global. Would the pt be charged for the clinic visit.

initial thought is no - use 99024 to indicate it was an E&M office visit within the global period

If the doctor from your clinic saw the patient in the hospital, then it would be post op.
