Wiki Global for TOT and Vag Hyst

Hello,

Patient had a TOT and Vag Hyst. She then presented to the office for retention after the procedures. Would that be considered global to the procedure or can I append the mod -24 for different Dx ????

I think the post op visit does warrant a separate E& M charge with a modifier 24, using dx code 788.20 or 788.21. Did your doctor perform a PVR (bladder scan) 51728 to determine urine volume or maybe bladder irrigation 51700? Because if yes, you can also charge either of these aside from the ofc visit.
