We moved to Germany due to my husband’s military orders. It was difficult to do the same job there. I did keep my CEU’s up to date, though. We are back in the USA (Hawaii) now and I would like to get a remote coding position again. Should I complete some sort of refresher course before applying for jobs?

Quite a bit has changed in four years. If you can take advantage of a CPC prep course offered free/low cost by a local chapter, it might be helpful. Attend as many AAPC Chapter meetings as you can. Read AAPC The Magazine. Get yourself the current coding books and read through them. You have the coding basics, you'll just need to get up to date. Good luck to you!!
