Looking for help with finding a CPT code for Cooled Radiofrequency Genicular Neurotomy, is anyone out there billing this, and is it getting reimbursed? Wondering if I need to use the 64999?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I found this thread and wanted to see if you were ever able to locate any information on the proper way to bill for this procedure? I have contacted Kimberly Clark and while they offer a description of the procedure on their website there is no reimbursement information, however all of the other procedures have sample medical necessity letters and the appropriate codes associated with them. The only code I can come up with for this procedure is the 64999?

The doctor is using 64640 but our coders are using 64999 - Surgical Notes.
