Wiki General Questions about starting an At Home Medical Claims business

I am a degrees Medical Biller & Coder located in Georgia. I am scheduled to take my CPC Exam in October and then I plan to start my own Medical Claims business. My question is where do you start. I know that a business license comes is required but I'm unsure of what percentage should i ask of providers to do their billing? What is the best clearinghouse and software that I should purchase? I looked at some software online and was interested in MediTouch but I don't want to purchase anything that isn't commonly used or does it matter? I'm in desperate need of guidance and I'm currently looking for a mentor in my area that can possibly help guide me through the dos and donts. If you have any helpful info that may help me on this journey, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
