I'm looking for a code to bill general IOP services. One of my providers said there was a code for general IOP that would include both the H0015 and S9480. Does anyone know if this code exsists?
 
IOP HCPC/CPT CODE - Depends on Payer

IOP & PHP are routinely categorized as Institutional or Facility Billing (not professional) and require UB04 or 837I
CPT/HCPCS code are payer specific: Some payers use bundled codes (S9480 for IOP) (H0035 for PHP) other payers require provider to bill each program component
Payers differentiate these Per Diem Daily Rates according to the number of hours rendered in each program, with IOP being the less intensive option
Due to the differences in Revenue Codes (912/913 for PHP / 905/906 for IOP) it is unlikely there will be a CPT/HCPCS code that would include both IOP & PHP
