I am just checking to see if anyone here has had any information/received payment from Medicare for primary osteoarthritis of the shoulder for these injections. I have looked at the LCD for Medicare and the diagnosis is covered, but all my research shows these injections are only for the knee. My physician is just wanting to make sure before he performs any procedure.

We only do them for knees, that is all I see approved in my Medicare area (DC)
