A Medicare patient was discharged and then went the restroom in the waiting room prior to leaving the building. She fell while in the restroom. Do I need to report G8910 - patient documented to have experienced a fall within the ASC - ? Thanks for any clarification on this.

It's my understanding, if the patient falls in your facility, you need to report it
