Wiki G0121 for commercial payers?

Hello, I have seen some commercial payers processing G0121 codes for patients. I was under the impression that this code was only billable to Medicare? Is it correct to bill commercial payers with this procedure code if the procedure warrants it? Thanks

it is a carrier discretion allowed code, meaning the commercial carriers may use it or not at their preference.
