Hello,

Just a quick question....

Is anyone billing an injection code (ex:20610) along with a fracture code with manipulation (ex:25605) when Lidocaine is being injected prior to the manipulation?

You physician is injecting lidocain into the joint? Is it for anesthesia purposes? If so then you may not bill.

Yes, it is for anesthesia purposes. I didn't think we could, just double checking I guess.

What about billing a joint injection (Depo-Medrol) after manipulation of stiff joint (stiff joint result of previous joint replacement)??
