One of our surgeons is debriding an area of exposed skin, subcutaneous tissues, tendon, and capsule of the MCP joint, for full-thickness skin loss secondary to an abscess.

I was just going to use 681.00 for abscess of the finger. Does anyone have any other recommendations about what icd-9-cm code to use?
