Can any of the ortho peers weigh in on this please as I am having difficulties determining the correct MDM for 2021 visits?
For fracture follow-up visits (when global fx care is not billed) a month or two after initial injury, patient gets x-ray (which we bill separately), and doc says it's healing & come back in another month with x-ray. No prescriptions or therapy.
1) Is this still considered an acute, uncomplicated illness or injury?
2) Minimal or low risk?
I appreciate any responses.
