My ortho dr did an inpatient consult for a patient with a proximal humerous fracture who was already in a shoulder immobilizer, but was removed and reapplied in the appropriate position. My dr wants to bill for fracture care since the patient will follow up with us for his continued care. Is this the correct billing for this?
