Wiki FQHC Place of Service

We are a provider based FQHC. We have always billed our place of service code 11. We know the guidelines state it should be 50 (I don't need a link or quote with the codes, thank you). We all know that what happens in the real world and what "correct coding convention" states are not always in agreement. The few other FQHCs we have queried also use POS 11. If you are a provider based FQHC, what POS do you use, and do you have any issues with any payors because of it?

When I worked for a FQHC, we also used POS 11 and didn't have reimbursement issues at all.

I would echo the previous post. We billed with POS 11 and never had issues with FQHC reimbursement.

Will bill POS 11 and have no problems with reimbursement either.
