I'm praying I can get a straight answer. When billing for an occult blood, 82270, 82272, they all say you need 3 consecutive samples. What do you code when the doctor does one test in the office? It's for screening so I'm reporting V76.41 as my dx. Is one test that the doctor performs in the office one of the above codes or is there a different one I'm supposed to be using. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
