Wiki Fluoride Varnish Services

Hello,
Does anyone bill for fluoride varnish to commercial insurances ? Do they pay for these services when done during routine physicals? I work in a pediatricians office and we are looking to start billing for for fluoride varnish.
Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.

We do Fluoride, Lead, and Hemoglobin for our Medicaid HMOs only. They “want” it done (and ding us on reports if we don’t)!

Our experience has been that commercial payers won’t pay for them.
