Wiki flu vaccine administration

Patient brings flu vaccine serum, we just administer it. What code to bill for the administration only? to avoid an edit? Cannot use 96372 since not a medication.

You would bill 90471 for the administration of the vaccine with no additional education.

Some insurances request kind of vaccine to get paid administration, you can bill cpt code related to this vaccine and request 0.02$, BTW I am positive that you know that 90471 is not for Medicare pt flu vaccine administration. In such case use G0008
