I have a physician that dictated:
Ultrasound-guided access was attempted on multiple occasions in multiple locations; however, a central venous access could not be successfully achieved preventing Port-a-cath placement. X-ray was performed to assure absence of hemopneumothorax.
Can you code anything for this? I'm thinking only the single shot of fluoro to assure the absence of the hemopneumothorax.....not sure exactly.
