Can somebody please help me? Patient received an ORIF for a stress fracture and they have a nonunion of the fractured femoral neck....
Do i just use the T84.19_ code alone and that's it? or do i need to code for the fracture as well? And then of course, there's the initial/subsequent/sequela.... IF i use the fracture code, the only way that i can say that it's a nonunion is to say it's subsequent.... But this is also new treatment by a different physician... So should it be initial?
