we just opened a facility for plastic surgery(cash only) but we are considering taking some Insurances. What do we need ? what type of creditations do we need ? can we bill for anesthesia and facility fee? help please
It depends on what type of insurance cases you are planning on accepting. Some require both accreditation and Medicare certification while others only require one of the other. And, yes to anesthesia and facility. But it must be billed separately--each is it's own provider.
