Wiki Facility Coding inpatient

Question: I work in a catastrophic rehab facility. I have a patient that is admitted inpatient and stays at our facility 4 out of 5 days. Is it appropriate to bill for inpatient on that 5th day when he is not here? I say no, but others are telling me yes??

no...only days/nights he has been in facility.
