Can someone please help me? Patient was believed to have a cyst but no cyst was found.
After adequate anesthesia, the right shoulder was prepped and draped in standard fashion. Half percent Marcaine with epinephrine was used to anesthetize the skin surrounding the marked lesion. A transverse incision was made over the lesion. Sharp and blunt dissection were used to explore the tail end of the pectoralis major. Fatty tissue was encountered without finding any organized lipoma or synovial cyst. Closure was achieved for subcutaneous layer, and subcuticular layer.
