Wiki Excisional Debridement In the Office Setting During the Global Period

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Scenario: Patient is in his/her 90 day global period. Patient developed a post operative wound infection. Physician performs an extensional debridement in the office setting. I know CMS states this is included during the global unless patient returns to the OR. What about commercial carriers? Has anyone had any success in getting these type of claims paid? I would appreciate any suggestions.
