Hello all.
Question on suprapubic tube granulation, should I bill as a higher office visit or is there a procedure code. please see dictation below
After verbal informed consent was obtained, the patient was placed supine, washed with Betadine, and I utilized 3.0 mL of 2% lidocaine plain injected around the inferior base of the suprapubic tube region. I next used electrocauterization to excise the granulation tissue. It was carefully cauterized and we reduced the region down to a contoured site.
